Job Title: Psychiatric Technician (Safety)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Technician (Safety) to join our team at the Central California Women's Facility in Chowchilla. As a Psychiatric Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic level of general nursing and behavioral and psychiatric nursing care to patients in accordance with the Mental Health Program Guide, policies and procedures, and regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with the health care team to ensure the delivery of appropriate and timely health care to patients.
  • Organize and provide patient care in a variety of correctional health care settings.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of patients by following established protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Possession of a valid license to practice as a Psychiatric Technician issued by the BVNPTE.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the health care team and other stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
