About the Internship

Americo Life is seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Part-Time Intern in Community Event Coordination and Ambassadorship. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for envisioning, planning, and executing community events in the Downtown area, including concerts, markets, food trucks, and street music.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning and Coordination: Work with our team to plan and execute community events, including securing funding, coordinating with city leaders, local businesses, and vendors.
  • Community Outreach and Engagement: Establish and launch a social media presence for the community, generate content, and encourage local businesses and visitors to engage with our accounts.
  • Marketing and Branding: Collaborate with our marketing team to develop marketing initiatives for the community and launch a strong brand presence.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our team to create unique experiences within the Downtown area.
Requirements
  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree and remain fully enrolled in the program during the internship.
  • Academic Status: Freshman through Senior standing in a four-year institution pursuing a Bachelor's degree.
  • Availability: Able to work part-time hours during the academic year and flexibility to support after-hours/special events.

*Note: This is an onsite internship, and you must be in the Kansas City area to be considered.*
