Job Overview
As part of our ongoing expansion, we are in search of enthusiastic and committed Counter Sales Representatives.

In this role, you will be tasked with delivering an exceptional customer service experience to all customers, whether they visit in person or reach out via phone.

The Counter Sales Representative will also ensure outstanding service to both internal and external clients at all times.

We are looking for individuals who are highly motivated and eager to engage in all operational processes and procedures.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet every customer warmly as they enter and maintain friendly engagement throughout their shopping journey.
  • Utilize suggestive selling techniques at checkout, as suitable, and assist in resolving any issues.
  • Order out-of-stock or special items, create purchase orders, manage transfers, and follow up with customers via phone until the invoice is finalized.
  • Keep organized files and accurate records of all transactions, ensuring the cash drawer is precise.
  • Monitor inventory levels to maintain appropriate stock and ensure the showroom is presentable.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse to guarantee timely preparation of customer orders, upholding LKQ's high standards of service.
  • Proactively seek new accounts through various means and reconnect with former customers by reviewing past client lists.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • A strong background in customer service is essential.
  • Prior experience in the automotive industry and knowledge of automotive parts is preferred.
  • Ability to follow both oral and written instructions effectively.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
  • Teamwork is crucial, and willingness to work extended hours when necessary is expected.
  • A positive, helpful attitude and a commitment to delivering top-notch customer service are vital.

While performing the duties of this position, employees may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and an office environment. Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures and moderately loud noise levels may also occur. Employees should be able to tolerate varying temperature levels and occasional adverse driving conditions.
