Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate professional to join our team as a Social Worker Intern. As a member of our team, you will assist in answering incoming calls, work closely under the supervision of an on-sight supervisor, and maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in answering incoming calls and directing them to appropriate staff.
  • Work closely under the supervision and guidance of an on-sight supervisor or their designee.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Actively participate in regular individual/group supervision.
  • Complete all paperwork required.
  • Provide case management functions as needed and directed.
  • Observe and participate in Diagnostic Evaluations, psychotherapy groups, and/or individual sessions with client consent.
  • Complete tasks and trainings accurately and within required time frames.
Qualifications
  • Masters' students in an approved university internship program required.
  • Good driving record and valid car insurance required.
  • Advanced Computer skills including Excel capabilities with the ability to create reports.
  • Strong organizational, time management, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Impeccable integrity, judgment, and professionalism.
  • Must be analytical and solutions-oriented.
  • Ability to work well in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements

The following physical requirements are necessary for this position:

  • Standing: Maintaining an upright position on the feet, especially for prolonged periods of time.
  • Pushing: Applying pressure and exertion against an object for the purpose of moving it forward or away from the source of the force.
  • Lifting: Raising an object from a lower to a higher position, or moving an object laterally, from position to position.
  • Stooping: Bending the body forward and down from the waist, hips, and knees, sometimes for a prolonged length of time.
  • Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction away from the body.
  • Balancing: Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or moving surfaces.
