About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as an Airport Lounge Assistant Director of Culinary Operations. This exciting opportunity is part of our Airport Lounge Segment, which operates the Sapphire Lounge by The Club at San Diego International Airport.

The ideal candidate will have a background in upscale a la carte dining and premium beverage/bar service, with a proven track record of delivering culinary-driven, fine-dining experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing, menu compliance, inventory management, food cost analysis, and food production forecasting
  • Ensuring Sodexo Culinary standards, including recipe compliance and food quality, are implemented and maintained
  • Developing and motivating team members to embrace culinary innovations and excellence
  • Ensuring food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards are met
  • Working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems
Requirements
  • Strong F&B background with the ability to stay current with new industry trends
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to maintain the highest culinary standards
  • Strong coaching and employee development skills
  • Passion for food and innovation
