About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Specialist to join our team at Acadia Healthcare. As a leading provider of behavioral healthcare services, we offer a comprehensive approach to treatment and a nurturing environment for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical services to patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
  • Board certification in psychiatry and current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions.
  • Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate.
