As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality, efficient patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collecting and preparing specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Performing laboratory procedures essential for diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases.
- Accurately verifying, recording, and reporting lab results in a timely manner.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Utilizing your knowledge of human physiology to interpret test results effectively.
- Following established laboratory protocols for specimen handling and processing.
- Conducting authorized tests based on your qualifications and experience.
- Identifying and addressing issues that may impact test performance.
- Documenting corrective actions taken when necessary.
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field such as chemical, physical, biological, or life sciences.
- Clinical laboratory experience within the last five years or a degree in laboratory medical technology with clinical rotation.
- National Registration as an MLS(ASCP)cm, MT(ASCP), or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with staff, patients, and vendors.
