POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in assisting the Store Manager to foster a customer-centric and product-driven sales environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performance Management:
    - Analyze sales metrics and key performance indicators to identify business needs; collaborate with the Store Manager to implement effective sales strategies.
    - Set clear expectations for the team and hold them accountable for meeting brand standards and performance goals.
    - Manage payroll and inventory budgets efficiently.
    - Oversee daily operational tasks such as scheduling, inventory audits, and cash handling, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Customer Engagement:
    - Model and promote exceptional customer service standards, ensuring a seamless shopping experience across all channels.
    - Utilize various sales techniques to engage customers, providing personalized product recommendations based on their preferences.
    - Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.
  • Team Development:
    - Assist in recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in retail management preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to adapt to new technologies and systems.
  • Proven track record in customer service and sales leadership.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • Knowledge of retail operations and administrative processes.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Frequent walking and standing throughout the shift.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent climbing as needed.
