Data Privacy Program Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to lead our privacy initiatives and drive the improvement of our privacy posture. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating privacy risks, collaborating closely with engineering, product, and legal teams to ensure the proactive management of privacy risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise and support technical teams on privacy considerations related to data migration and asset reviews to identify potentially sensitive data.
- Conduct comprehensive privacy assessments of corporate systems, applications, and data processes, documenting findings, analyzing risk, and providing clear and actionable recommendations for remediation.
- Track and drive the resolution of identified privacy issues, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to develop remediation plans, monitor progress, and ensure timely closure and appropriate handoff.
- Design and implement a service to provide privacy consultation and support to internal teams.
- Continuously optimize team processes and knowledge management practices to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness, maintaining up-to-date documentation, templates, and internal resources.
- Provide expert privacy guidance to technical teams on privacy considerations for various internal projects.
- Identify and resolve privacy risks through conducting assessments and driving remediation of identified privacy issues.
Requirements:
- 5 years of minimum experience as a Technical Program Manager in Privacy.
- Audit or assessment experience.
- Privacy certifications such as CIPT (Certified Information Privacy Technologist) or CIPM (Certified Information Privacy Manager).
- Risk management certifications such as RIMS-CRMP (RIMS-Certified Risk Management Professional).
- Stakeholder management, planning, and communications, risk management expertise.
