Position Details
  • Schedule: Full-time or part-time options available
  • Start Date: Immediate start available
  • End Date: Through the current school year, with potential for renewal
  • Location: Buffalo, NY
Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students to identify their needs.
  2. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders.
  3. Provide direct speech therapy services to students, either one-on-one or in small groups.
  4. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication goals across settings.
  5. Track student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to meet their evolving needs.
  6. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of speech and language goals.
  7. Ensure compliance with relevant state and federal regulations regarding speech therapy services.
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New York (or eligibility).
  • Experience working in a school or pediatric setting (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of speech and language disorders and effective therapy techniques.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary range: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum based on experience.
