About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Demand Planner to join our team at Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation over a rolling 12-18 month planning horizon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine demand forecasts using historical shipment trends, consumption trends, customer inventory data, and demand assumptions.
  • Lead cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances or exceptions and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
  • Develop, modify, and communicate the short- and long-range demand plan to Supply Planning.
  • Track Forecast KPI's including bias, accuracy, and forecast value add, and use these KPI's to drive improvements.
  • Lead monthly S&OP process for assigned brands, including maintaining baseline statistical forecasts, collecting Sales and Marketing forecast drivers, and highlighting changes and drivers in the plan to key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a combination of sales, marketing, demand planning, or merchandise retail planning, preferably in a CPG or food industry environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field (Supply Chain, Information Systems, Finance, or business degree) or equivalent training and experience required.
  • Very strong understanding of a P&L, including variable impacting trends in sales, costing, etc. Ability to derive messaging based on the data.
  • High proficiency working within Oracle Demand Planning and/or Oracle Analytics or similar database application technology required.
