Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and meticulous Permanent Master Mechanic to enhance our operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of construction machinery, particularly cranes. In this role, you will be tasked with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of construction equipment to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency. This is a full-time, permanent role that provides competitive compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose and repair various types of construction machinery, including cranes, excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.
2. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to guarantee peak performance and safety.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
4. Collaborate with equipment operators and project managers to identify equipment problems and prioritize repair tasks.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is advantageous.
2. At least 3 years of experience as a mechanic in the construction sector, with a minimum of 1 year in a master mechanic or equivalent position.
3. Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and repairing various types of construction machinery, especially cranes.
4. Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
5. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
