Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist PRN to join our team at TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in the Operating Room, working under the direct supervision of the OR nurse to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical experience for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Function as a scrub person during operative procedures, maintaining a sterile field and instrumentation.
  • Assist in the intra-operative care of patients, performing technical duties as assigned.
  • Deliver compassionate, holistic care, while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and effective surgical environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech Program.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist required.
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 25 pounds.
  • BLS certification (new employees have up to 90 days from date of hire to obtain the American Heart Association BLS for healthcare providers).
