Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a multi-discipline team of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships through open and transparent communication.
  • Coordinate and communicate project details to the MEP design team members.
  • Organize and lead weekly internal meetings to discuss project plans and progress.
  • Conduct quality control site visits to ensure project quality and compliance.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets and hours.
  • Review and approve team time sheets to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure seamless billing processes.
  • Represent Salas O'Brien at marketing events and business development opportunities to drive new projects and clients.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in managing MEP design projects (all phases) for corporate, healthcare, higher education, private K-12 schools, local/state government, and multi-family residential projects.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Engineering or project management-related degree and/or PMP certification desired.

Location: Richmond, VA. Travel may be required.
