Clinic Operations Supervisor

Role Summary: The Front Office Clinic Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic's front office. This position is responsible for guiding and mentoring the front office team to uphold the clinic's mission and values while delivering exceptional patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- A minimum of three years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a clinic
- Familiarity with medical insurance protocols is essential
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a supervisory role within a medical clinic is advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Practice Manager to mentor and lead front office personnel, promoting the clinic's mission and core values through training and engagement.
- Achieve measurable outcomes through established performance metrics and patient satisfaction assessments.
- Oversee the collection of patient copayments and outstanding balances by all clinic staff.
- Ensure accurate verification of patient demographics and insurance details through real-time eligibility checks.
- Guide staff in managing patient flow efficiently, assisting with patient check-in and check-out processes as needed.
- Support the Practice Manager in supervising front office staff and serve as the primary contact for front office inquiries.
- Assist in clinic operations and audits as directed by the Practice Manager, providing support to back-office leads when necessary.
- Participate in the training and orientation of new hires, leading ongoing assessments of staff competencies.
- Help coordinate employee performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as required.
- Organize and facilitate clinic site council meetings.
- Engage with patients daily to address and resolve their concerns.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, physician assistants, and back-office personnel to ensure high-quality customer service.
- Assist in staffing decisions and the allocation of work areas and shifts.
- Support the Practice Manager in managing office supplies and inventory control.
