Job Title: VTC/IPTV/AV Facilitator/Operator

GovCIO is seeking a highly skilled VTC/IPTV/AV Facilitator/Operator to provide support at Fort Eustis, Virginia.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating and operating VTC/IPTV/AV conferences, ensuring seamless audiovisual experiences for our clients. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate and operate VTC/IPTV/AV conferences, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal technical issues.
  • Conduct thorough audiovisual checks prior to each conference to ensure optimal performance.
  • Coordinate and implement recording and teleconferencing requirements as needed.
  • Serve as primary VTC/IPTV/AV equipment operator for VTC conferences and other collaborative meetings.
  • Provide technical support to users experiencing problems with operation or maintenance of systems.
  • Install, pull, terminate, and test all ATC equipment, cables, connectors, and interfaces.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to wire ATC racks.
  • Perform video capturing and transfer video to a media streaming server.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and network configurations.
  • Provide weekly tracking and reporting on all projects and bridge activity, outages, number of VTCs, and other pertinent information.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent with 0-3 years of experience (or commensurate experience).
  • Certifications: IAT Level I.
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft products, including MS Teams, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS SharePoint.
Desired Skills:
  • One year of AV experience.
  • One year of helpdesk experience.
