Job Overview

At First Manufacturing, we're seeking a skilled CNC Swiss Machinist to join our team. This role plays a vital part in our manufacturing operations, requiring expertise in programming and operating Citizen Swiss machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Programming and Optimization: Develop new programs and optimize existing ones on Citizen Swiss machines.
  • Machining and Setup: Perform setups on multiple machines, ensuring efficient production processes.
  • Quality Control: Generate setup and inspection sheets for new parts, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Oversee and work with other Swiss machinists and operators, promoting a collaborative environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • CNC Swiss Programming Experience: Proven experience in CNC Swiss programming and setup, with a strong understanding of Swiss lathe operations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Experience with precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues with CNC Swiss machines.
Physical Requirements
  • Physical Stamina: The ability to stand for extended periods while operating machinery or performing tasks.
  • Manual Dexterity: Excellent manual dexterity to handle small parts, load materials, and make precise adjustments to machine settings.
  • Visual Acuity: Good vision to read and interpret blueprints, inspect parts for quality, and operate CNC machines with precision.
