Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Machinist to contribute to our growing success. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills and knowledge of Swiss lathe operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Programming: Develop new programs and optimize existing ones on Citizen L32 Swiss machines.
  • Machining Setup: Perform setup tasks on multiple Citizen L32 machines.
  • Material Management: Load stock into bar feeder and monitor the machining process.
  • Quality Control: Inspect parts produced per QMS standards.
  • Transactions and Maintenance: Accurately record transactions, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot issues with CNC Swiss machines.
  • Workplace Safety: Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to safety regulations and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining is preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in CNC Swiss programming/setup, with a strong understanding of Swiss lathe operations.
  • Skills: Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications, as well as experience with precision measuring instruments.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong attention to detail, quality orientation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, effective communication, and teamwork abilities.
