Job Overview

First Manufacturing, a leading precision component manufacturer in Humboldt, SD, is hiring an experienced CNC Swiss Machinist to work on our night shift (3:45pm-1:45am). As a key member of our team, you will contribute to our growing success and enjoy a 4 Day Work Week; Monday - Thursday.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize new part programs on Citizen L32 Swiss machines
  • Perform set-ups and monitor machining processes on multiple Citizen L32 machines
  • Load stock into bar feeder and ensure nominal print dimensions and surface finishes
  • Conduct visual and physical inspections of produced parts according to QMS
  • Maintain accurate records and perform routine transactions
  • Troubleshoot issues with CNC Swiss machines and perform routine maintenance
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining preferred
  • Proven experience in CNC Swiss programming/setup and Swiss lathe operations
  • Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments
  • Strong attention to detail and quality orientation
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
