Position Overview

We are seeking a part-time on-site IV Nurse to join our team in San Mateo, CA. The IV Nurse will play a crucial role in delivering both direct and indirect nursing care to our clients. Responsibilities include conducting brief assessments, administering vitamins and treatments in various settings, and monitoring patient conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough assessments and document patient care accurately.
  • Administer intravenous treatments and vitamins as prescribed.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management.

Qualifications

  • Must possess an active California Registered Nurse license.
  • Experience with intravenous access is essential.
  • Demonstrated clinical skills, including assessment, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs), Square, and Acuity Scheduling System is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field is preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are preferred.
