Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing Tier I and II technical support for clients via phone and social media applications.
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical software, hardware, and network problems.
  • Using automated information systems to analyze routine situations.
  • Reviewing incoming requests, sorting, coding, and prioritizing for proper action.
  • Resolving problems or contacting more senior technical support as necessary.
  • Supporting users by fulfilling individual requests for information and/or training in the utilization of various databases.
  • Conducting technical research for source of information required in support of request for information related to ongoing programs and proposal efforts.
  • Maintaining network diagrams and circuit records.
  • Instructing users in the use of PCs and networks.
  • Performing basic PC, PBX, and network software programming.
  • Interacting with other team members to restore services and/or identify and correct the core problem.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance.
  • Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
Qualifications

Basic qualifications include:
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD) clearance.
  • High School diploma/equivalent and 2-4 years relevant experience.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Experience with O365.
  • Ability to support rotating shift work.
  • Technical Customer Support experience required.
  • Strong customer support skills.
  • Problem-solving ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
  • Demonstrates eagerness to learn and flexible with the ability to multi-task.
  • Possess attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to be flexible, multi-task, and organize priorities in a fast-paced work environment, while maintaining a high level of focus and accuracy.
  • High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Target Salary Range

$39,000 - $62,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
