Job Summary

The Product Owner is a dynamic role that plays a crucial part in articulating the value propositions of GEHA's product offers. This individual serves as the primary advocate for GEHA's FEHB/PSHB/FEDVIP/VEBA product, balancing the needs of customers, business stakeholders, and the development team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and promote value propositions for GEHA's FEDVIP/VEBA/Ancillary portfolio, ensuring alignment with the needs and expectations of federal employees and annuitants.
  • Engage with customers and gather feedback for continuous product improvement and differentiation, supporting market expansion efforts.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external senior management to align on customer needs, driving product adoption and growth.
  • Lead product ideation, design, development, and annual updates, establishing strategic advisory relationships to enhance product value.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Actuarial, Finance, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure successful product launch, marketing, and performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare Administration, or a closely related field.
  • 5 years of direct experience in product development within a collaborative, matrixed team setting.
  • Strategic Influence: Proven capability to collaborate with business leaders to facilitate strategy execution.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Exceptional analytical abilities with a proven history of leveraging complex data insights to drive strategic decisions.
  • Communication Excellence: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Decision-Making: Demonstrated competence in prioritizing among competing demands to make decisions that are data-driven and outcome-focused.
  • Innovative Thinking: A strategic mindset with a documented history of enhancing product-market fit and performance through innovative strategies.
