Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

HexaQuEST Health, Inc. is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in southwestern Colorado. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care and diagnostic information through conscientious, skillful, and compassionate diagnostic medical sonography.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect pertinent data about the patient and the procedure.
  • Provide information about the procedure to the patient, significant others, and healthcare providers.
  • Provide the best possible diagnostic study for each patient by applying professional judgment and discretion.
  • Deliver patient care and service without bias based on personal attributes, nature of the disease, sex, race, creed, religion, or socioeconomic status.
  • Maintain appropriate credentials and certificates related to clinical practice.
  • Use professional judgment to perform and adapt imaging procedures for quality diagnostic interpretation.
  • Establish and monitor standards of performance among all subordinates and ensure that standards are being consistently met.
  • Determine the need for and use accessory equipment when appropriate.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely within the department and with other hospital departments.
  • Attend meetings, prepare reports, and analyze and provide recommendations in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Responsible for maintaining performance improvement activities in the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
  • Use Cerner and PACS appropriately for quality patient care.
  • Ensure documentation meets established standards.
  • Treat patients and their families with respect and dignity.
  • Interact professionally with patient/family and provide explanations and verbal reassurance as necessary.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging
  • Minimum Guaranteed Hours: 40
  • State License Details: Not Needed
  • Specialty Type: Diagnostic Imaging
  • Sub Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist General ab/ob small parts
  • General Certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PAL, SNRP
  • Allied Health Certifications: ARDMS(AB), ARDMS(BR), ARDMS(NE), ARDMS(OB), ARRT(R), ARRT(M), ARRT(CT), ARRT(MRI), ARRT(N), ARRT(RT), RDCS, RDCS(AE), RDCS(FE), RDCS(PE), ARRT, ARDMS (RVT)
