We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at Soar Autism Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary clinic, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children with autism and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver ABA Therapy Services: Provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children aged 2-6 in our clinic, adhering to the highest standards of the profession.
- Implement Intervention Plans: Effectively implement intervention plans crafted by our expert Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring alignment with ABA therapy principles.
- Foster Family Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, providing regular updates on their child's progress within the ABA framework.
- Continuing Education: Engage in ongoing training and development, staying up-to-date with advancements in ABA therapy and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Education and Certification: Strong preference for either enrollment in or completion of a degree program. Bonus for degrees in Child Development, Psychology, or related fields. Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification (Soar will provide paid training).
- Experience and Skills: Previous experience working with children and a genuine enjoyment of working with children. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Competitive Compensation: $20.50-$26.00/hour with regular bonus and promotion opportunities. All staff members are considered for a raise or promotion every 3 months.
