Job Title: Bilingual Behavioral Health Technician

Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary clinic, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children with autism and their families.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and bilingual professional who can deliver Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to children aged 2-6 in our clinic. As a Bilingual Behavioral Health Technician, you will work closely with our expert Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement intervention plans and provide support to families in both English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2-6, adhering to high standards of care.
  • Implement intervention plans crafted by our expert BCBAs, ensuring alignment with Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy principles.
  • Provide bilingual support during family meetings, communicating in both English and Spanish.
  • Foster relationships with families, keeping them informed about their child's progress within the ABA framework.
  • Engage in ongoing training and development, staying updated with advancements in ABA therapy and RBT certification.
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish (Proficiency Test required for additional pay increase).
  • Strong preference for either enrollment in or completion of a degree program. Bonus for degrees in Child Development, Psychology, or related fields.
  • Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification (Soar will provide paid training).
  • Previous experience with children and enjoyment working with children.
  • Ability to work on a team.
