Job Title: Project Site Nurse

Overview

The Walsh Group is seeking an experienced Project Site Nurse to support our Healthcare Building Division on a healthcare project located in Lexington, KY.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the care of ill and injured workers, including return to work assessments and evaluations.
  • Engage with site and regional medical resources to support clinical activities, including medical triage protocols, virtual screenings, and confinement guidelines.
  • Conduct injury and illness assessments, administer medical screenings, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Provide health coaching and optimize employee health and well-being through screening tests and follow-up referrals.
  • Proactively work on a vibrant living culture to improve employee health and well-being through wellness programs.

Essential Functions:

  • Administer occupational and environmental health and safety programs consistent with company policies.
  • Function as a subject matter expert on case management, including worker's compensation and referrals.
  • Assess healthcare needs of employees and employee populations, assist with accident investigations, and evaluate and treat injuries and illnesses.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director to arrange for further medical treatment, as needed.
  • Assess healthcare needs, implement and manage healthcare programs, and identify prevention and health promotion strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree of Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Active, non-restricted state of Kentucky RN license
  • Adult CPR/FA/AED/BBP Certification and Instructor
  • Detailed knowledge of OSHA, BWC, and other federal regulations governing the workplace
