Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Network Operations Specialist to support one of our Government clients in Annapolis Junction, MD. This position will involve installing, configuring, and operating network security devices, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and network traffic analyzers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and operate network security devices, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, network traffic analyzers, anti-virus, anti-spyware, and commercial computer forensic tools and products.
  • Collect on-net signatures for network security devices and identify those unique to a particular device.
  • Evaluate CNO tools and techniques.
  • Provide written reports on the results of evaluations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or network engineering.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in computer science or information systems with experience in system or network administration (Windows, Linux, or Solaris).
  • Certifications in MCSE, RHCE, CEH, CCNA, or CISSP.

Capabilities

  • Ability to install and configure anti-virus software and spy-ware protection software.
  • Ability to design, write, and execute software test plans.

Clearance Requirement

This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Candidate Referral

We offer a referral program for persons presenting new candidates who are successfully placed on one of our projects. The bonus is $5,000, and the referrer is eligible to receive the sum for any applicant we place within 12 months of referral. The bonus is paid after the referred employee reaches 6 months of employment.
