Position Title:
Information Security Systems Specialist

Location:
This role is based onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance of products and systems with requirements and government standards for information assurance and cyber security through formal verification methods.
  • Validate systems with a focus on network operations and cyber warfare strategies, emphasizing threats to information networks.
  • Evaluate performance using established criteria and technical performance measures.
  • Prepare assessments and cyber threat profiles for current and future products based on detailed testing, research, and analysis.
  • Conduct research and assess the technical performance of enterprise products and systems.
  • Provide constructive feedback to design engineers and evaluate systems throughout their lifecycle.
  • Participate in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure relevance to current systems and traceability of requirements.
  • Review testing plans and procedures to ensure they validate the requirements.
  • Develop and maintain analytical procedures to adapt to evolving requirements.
  • Produce high-quality documentation, presentations, recommendations, and findings for decision-makers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 7 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3 to 5 years of experience.
  • Proven experience in verifying and validating systems and assessing cyber threats.
  • Strong understanding of requirements and government standards for information assurance and cyber security.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively.
  • Must hold a current DoD M IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE).

Clearance Requirement:

  • Must possess an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
