Job Title: General Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our scientific operations team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations within a regulated scientific environment, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall business performance.
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals, fostering a positive working environment and encouraging continuous professional development.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth and legally compliant business operations.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to achieve these improvements.
  • Ensure all activities adhere to regulatory standards, reducing the risk of non-compliance and associated penalties.
  • Make high-level decisions about policy and strategy.
  • Report to the board of directors and keep them informed about company operations and progress towards goals.
  • Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations to support business growth.
  • Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree will be a plus.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a managerial role within a regulated scientific environment.
  • Proven experience in processing within a scientific, regulated environment.
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations and legislations.
  • Exceptional leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans and implement them successfully.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance.
  • High level of commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
