Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve cocktails, beers, and wines to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including the bar, shelves, and equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
  • Stay up-to-date on drink menus, ingredients, and preparation methods to provide expert recommendations to guests.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure a fully stocked bar.
  • Participate in pre-shift meetings to review daily operations, discuss guest feedback, and address any concerns.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setting up and breaking down the bar area.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Previous experience as a bartender or in a related role.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, and stand for long periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in liquor, wine, and food service.
  • Knowledge of computerized POS systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Knowledge of local geographic area, competitors, and business trends.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours.
  • Frequent need to perform reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting, and climbing.
  • Constant need to perform grasping, turning, and finger dexterity.
