About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our team at Toyota Alabama. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operation.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and repair of equipment as needed to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and optimize equipment performance.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Requirements:

  • Industrial maintenance and/or military experience with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills in PLC's, Computers & Information Technology, Hydraulic/Pneumatic, Motion/Motor Control, Welding, Machining, and Robotics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with a focus on safety and quality.
