Mission-Critical Production Lead

About the Role:

In this pivotal position at SpaceX, you will oversee production activities in our Dragon Cleanroom, ensuring seamless mission execution. As a seasoned expert, you will lead cross-functional teams to achieve high-quality results while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate shop floor activities, including daily schedules and workflow optimization.
  • ID and contain nonconformities, documenting rework and implementing corrective actions.
  • Spearhead technician training to enhance skills and productivity.
  • Review work instructions for improvement recommendations.
  • Monitor labor hours and implement time management strategies with staff.
  • Drive production results by communicating job expectations and monitoring performance.
  • Maintain workflow adherence and provide guidance as needed.
  • Develop and implement cost reduction processes for optimized production.
  • Facilitate corrections to malfunctions within process control points.
  • Promote cooperation between departments and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Verify product quality and conformance to specifications.
  • Maintain tooling and consumable supply inventory levels.
Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of experience in an aerospace/aviation field or manufacturing production environment.

Salary:

We offer an estimated annual salary of $95,000 - $110,000 based on industry standards and location factors.
