We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Police Officer in Prince George's County. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining law and order, enforcing laws and regulations, and providing excellent customer service to the community.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance to the public
- Enforce laws and regulations, including traffic laws and ordinances
- Conduct investigations and gather evidence
- Provide support to other law enforcement agencies as needed
- Participate in community policing initiatives and build relationships with the community
- U.S. citizenship
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 21 years old at time of graduation from the Police Academy
- Possess a valid driver's license and at least 6 months driving experience
- Pass all qualification factors listed in the Additional Information
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
- Previous law enforcement experience
- College degree or higher
