Overview:

The Senior Quality Improvement Specialist plays a critical role in supporting quality improvement projects across the organization. Working closely with leadership and multi-disciplinary teams, this specialist will assist in the development and implementation of quality management concepts and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop work plans or project plans for quality improvement projects
  • Collaborate with leadership, co-workers, and medical staff to develop, implement, and monitor processes related to quality issues
  • Identify resources needed to support quality improvement projects and make recommendations for change in practice to improve quality outcomes

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of clinical healthcare-related experience; RN preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree in a health-related field preferred
  • Certification in quality (e.g. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality or CPPS) required within first 3 years of employment
