Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Quality Improvement Manager to join our team at Mercy. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for leading and directing work efforts associated with quality program activities, including quality assurance, patient safety, public reporting, regulatory and accreditation readiness, patient relations, and performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for quality-related activities to ensure continued pursuit of the highest quality of care.
  • Collaborate with Ministry leaders to develop and implement clinical quality initiatives, including planning, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of quality-related projects and programs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely measurement and reporting of clinical quality and patient safety practices throughout the facility.
  • Provide guidance and structure for holding coworkers and facility accountable to achieving performance goals.
  • Promote cooperation and sharing between quality departments across the ministry.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in clinical healthcare related experience, with 1-3 years in clinical quality improvement, patient safety, or risk management experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare-related field.
  • Preferred: Master's Degree, Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), or Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS).
