Job Title: Contract Abstraction Specialist

Location: Remote/Hybrid

Position Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a highly motivated Contract Abstraction Specialist to assist in managing a key client's owned portfolio. This role focuses on reviewing and abstracting contracts related to property sales and commercial real estate transactions. If you have experience in contract abstraction, spreadsheet management, and an understanding of sales transactions, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, abstract, and manage contracts for commercial real estate transactions.
  • Analyze, summarize, and enter key contract data into the Quickbase database.
  • Set up trackers in Google Sheets with advanced formulas to monitor contract progress, KPIs, and key obligations.
  • Ensure key dates and obligations are met by the Buyer (Google) and set reminders for important deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the team to provide contract insights and updates.
  • Generate reporting dashboards using Google Looker Studio for internal tracking and updates.
  • Stay organized and detail-oriented while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Contract Abstraction Experience:
    • Experience with contract abstraction, specifically in sales acquisition transactions.
    • Ability to review and interpret sales transaction documents, such as purchase agreements, closing documents, and sales contracts.
  • Commercial Real Estate Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with commercial real estate transactions and documentation.
    • Experience working with commercial sales or acquisition processes is a plus.
  • Spreadsheet Expertise:
    • Proficiency in setting up trackers and formulas using Google Sheets or other spreadsheet software.
    • Experience creating and working with advanced formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, IF statements, SUMIFS).
  • Dashboarding and Reporting Tools:
    • Experience with Google Looker Studio and/or MS Power BI for dashboarding and reporting.
  • Database Management:
    • Previous experience entering contract information into databases, such as Quickbase, and setting up reminder schedules for key contractual obligations.
