Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Technologist to join our team at UMass Dartmouth. The successful candidate will provide technical support and training to faculty, staff, and students in the use of University-supported instructional technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct technical support to faculty, staff, and students for all campus-supported instructional tools and services.
  • Collaborate with the Instructional Development team to train and support faculty in the use of the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Assist with assessing and testing of new technologies, services, and emerging trends in higher education.
  • Develop and deliver training and workshops on the use of instructional technologies for faculty and staff.
  • Work with the Instructional Development team to ensure ADA compliance in course sites and instructional technology tools.
  • Promote and facilitate the utilization of educational technologies across campus.
  • Provide excellent customer service and work collaboratively with the CITS Service Center team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in any field.
  • Demonstrated experience (over 3 years) supporting classroom-based and/or online instructional technologies.
  • Previous experience (over 1 year) working in a case management system.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology related field.
  • Significant (over 5 years) higher education experience working with classroom-based and/or online instructional technologies.
