About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Sterling Foods. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines.


Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and conducting repairs as needed. This includes:

  • Performing daily equipment inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems
  • Troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues using technical manuals and diagnostic tools
  • Conducting regular cleaning and lubrication of equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Developing and implementing preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
  • Collaborating with operations teams to resolve equipment-related issues and improve overall productivity

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a food processing environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in mechanical systems, including drives, motor controls, and sensors
  • Strong knowledge of electrical wiring and circuit analysis
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including diagrams and schematics
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
