Job Overview

AbbVie is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst, Asset Management to join our Business Technology Solutions team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in identifying and driving optimization opportunities that maximize the value of our technology investments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our SaaS application footprint, organizations, and types of licenses deployed.
  • Establish and manage an intake process for adding, reducing, swapping, or transferring SaaS licenses.
  • Ensure that SaaS licenses are freed up and made available for reuse when application users leave the company.
  • Provide expert advice to stakeholders on different editions and types of licenses to enable rightsizing the footprint.
  • Offer recommendations for optimal usage of technology assets based on utilization and application function.
  • Define the frequency and cadence for review with other enterprise teams.
  • Support the governance of ensuring technology asset requests are addressed and in line with AbbVie's enterprise strategy for the application.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders such as Enterprise Architecture, system owners, TAM, VMO, Purchasing and Finance on the end-to-end processes related to licensing.
  • Translate data gathered from user discussions and produce reports on discoveries and trends for management.
  • Provide inputs to Finance to enable chargebacks to organizations aligned to their usage.
  • Assist in the development of policies, processes, standards, and procedures.
  • Apply analytical thinking to assess trends and evaluate the value of technology assets based on TCO and usage.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
  • Work effectively with BTS and TAM teams to accomplish organizational goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience or Master's Degree with 4 years of experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a Business Data Analyst or Business System Analyst role.
  • Experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow, Flexera and/or Zylo ITAM tools is helpful.
  • Ability to summarize technical data for non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to author clear and concise reports.
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills to all personnel levels.
  • Experience with Data discovery/analytic tools.
  • Strong analytical background.
  • Ability to project manage initiatives and lead desired outcomes.
