District Sales Representative

Agriland FS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced District Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving profitable seed and trait sales growth in your assigned trade territory.
Key Responsibilities- Seed Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategies to increase seed sales revenue and market share.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key seed customers and prospects through regular interactions and targeted sales calls.
- Sales Training and Development: Coach and train Crop Specialists on seed selling techniques, product information, and market analysis to ensure they are equipped to meet customer needs.
- Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement seed marketing activities throughout the year, focusing on customer retention and expanding the number of seed customers.
- Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with Procurement Manager and supply administration personnel to advise and coordinate ordering for each location.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a preference for an agriculture major.
- Experience: 5-7 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in marketing seed.
- Skills: Working knowledge of seed, fertilizer, and crop protection products, as well as market analysis, pricing strategies, and supply forecasts.
- Leadership: Skilled in sales leadership, closing techniques, and working in a team-oriented environment.
- Communication: Professional communication, time management, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Travel: Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to travel overnight, on a limited basis.
- Physical Demands: Able to lift seed bags up to 70 pounds.
