Remote Special Education Teacher Needed for High School Students

At Soliant, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Special Education Teacher to provide direct and indirect educational support to K-12 students with special needs.
Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher who can deliver remote instruction and support tailored to the needs of high school students with special education requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) to address students' specific needs and goals.
- Provide instruction across various subjects, adapting teaching methods and materials to accommodate students' learning styles and needs.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other school staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and evaluate students' progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
- Utilize teletherapy platforms effectively to conduct lessons and engage with students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, IEP documentation, and other relevant data.
- Provide guidance and strategies to parents and teachers to support students' academic and personal development.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree or higher in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid Special Education certification or license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching high school students with special education needs is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of high school educational processes, IEP development, and best practices in special education.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional home office environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Salary Information
The estimated salary range for this position is $28-$38 per hour.
