Job Title: Network Equipment Installer

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Equipment Installer to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a Network Equipment Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of complex integrated Security & Fire systems, including wiring, equipment, and programming systems for clients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Install cabling, field equipment, and control equipment enclosures in customer locations according to national electric code, company, and customer guidelines.
* Use electronic test equipment to troubleshoot complicated problems during installation.
* Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.
* Readjust equipment, repair or replace inoperative equipment, and test for operation.
* Perform system checks for proper operation.
* Knowledge of computer programs, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; CCTV and access control systems.
* Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, while establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships.
* Work unsupervised to complete installation jobs and be self-motivated to complete jobs.
* Use hand and power tools to properly mount and secure equipment.
* Feed cables through access holes, roof spaces, and cavity walls to reach fixture outlets; then position and terminate cables, wires, and strapping.
* Conduct End-User training.
* Ability to isolate trouble to a customer network, where applicable.
* Significant background (5+ year experience) in Commercial Fire Alarm Systems.
* Significant background (5+ year experience) in Commercial Digital & Analog Camera Systems.
* Significant background (5+ year experience) in Commercial Access Control Systems.
* Experience with IP addressable security devices (2+ years).
* Must be computer literate, including advanced TCP/IP networking skills.
* Required to participate in After-Hour On-Call Rotation.
* Must be able to operate a company truck with an acceptable driving record.
* Proficient with all aspects and operation of ADT A.I. core card access, CCTV systems.

**Requirements:**

* Associate Degree or 2-year technical school program graduate preferred.
* An industry-recognized apprentice training program may be substituted for the formal education requirement.
* Any Town Fire Alarm Listed Agent Certifications.
* Specialized training/certification in the following categories:
