Job Title: Principal Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a key member of our Systems and Software Solutions (S&SS) team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems architecture, components, circuits, and products for defense and commercial systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze complex electronic circuitry and precision electro-mechanical assemblies to recommend component substitutions or re-design solutions.
  • Access, interpret, and recommend changes to engineering drawings.
  • Establish design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration, and test.
  • Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience or Master's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 3 years of engineering experience.
  • Ability to work on-site in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
  • Ability to diagnose/troubleshoot/repair hardware components.
  • Experience with test planning at the circuit card, equipment, and system level.
  • Experience generating automated test software.
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Analog/RF, EMI/EMC PI signal integrity experience.
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance (or higher).
  • Experience with SKILL or Python is a plus.
  • Experience with aerospace systems.
  • Experience with RF systems.
  • Ability to diagnose/troubleshoot/repair hardware components.
  • Experience with CAD or similar design tools.
Benefits:

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $87,800 - $131,600, as well as a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
