As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth transition for patients from the operating room to the recovery area.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct and indirect specialized nursing care to patients after receiving anesthetic agents
- Coordinate patient care and serve as a patient advocate throughout the post-operative experience
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification (preferred, to be obtained within 1 year)
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a PACU Registered Nurse with ICU/ER experience
- A dynamic and supportive work environment
