Cooperative Development Program Lead

A Business Operations Manager is required for the Cooperative Development Program at Center for Family Life in Sunset Park, Inc. This role will oversee daily operations, coordinate initiatives, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations to drive the success of cooperative businesses.

Center for Family Life in Sunset Park, Inc. is a neighborhood-based family and social services organization dedicated to promoting positive outcomes for children and adults through comprehensive social services. Our Cooperative Development Program is a nationally recognized leader in incubating and providing tailored technical assistance and training to cooperative businesses in immigrant, low-income communities.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of daily operations, including back-office services provided to cooperative businesses.
- Collaboration with the Director to develop, implement, and evaluate program strategies and goals.
- Preparation and submission of regular reports to the Director, highlighting program performance and progress on initiatives.
- Cultivation and maintenance of relationships with clients, stakeholders, management, funders, and community partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, social work, nonprofit management, or related field; master's degree or relevant certification a plus.
- Minimum 5 years in leadership roles within nonprofit organizations, with experience in program management, business development, or cooperative business models.
- Bilingual in Spanish required.
Estimated Salary Range: $60,000-$65,000, commensurate with education and experience.
