Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, conveying a sense of empathy and understanding.
  • Assist customers with their service needs, providing accurate and timely information and support.
  • Interview and document customer concerns, ensuring that all necessary information is captured and recorded.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with customers, providing regular updates on the status of their vehicle and ensuring that their expectations are met.
  • Consult with customers regarding recommended repairs and services, providing clear and concise explanations of the work required.
  • Review and verify repair orders, ensuring that all labor, parts, and sublet documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Close and invoice repair orders, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Provide exceptional telephone etiquette and active listening skills.
  • Meet or exceed CarMax guidelines for customer satisfaction.
  • Read, interpret, and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including spreadsheet knowledge.
  • Successfully work with associates in other departments within the store.
  • Perform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast-paced working environment.
Working Conditions

This role requires a combination of both office and outdoor environment, with the possibility of working in noisy and/or inclement weather conditions. You will be required to walk or stand for extended periods of time and may be required to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
