Exciting OBGYN Opportunity in North Carolina
- Position located in Roanoke Rapids, NC.
- Full-Time & Permanent role.
- Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).
- Looking for a Board Eligible/Board Certified OBGYN to serve a rural community.
We provide a comprehensive compensation package that includes:
- Signing bonus and potential relocation assistance.
- Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance of up to $3000 with up to 40 hours of leave.
- Malpractice coverage through Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA).
- Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) policy.
- Closed on major holidays.
- Reimbursement for professional fees and dues.
For those without outstanding medical student loans, inquire about a potential state high needs service bonus option.
Key Highlights
- We seek an individual dedicated to rural practice with a commitment to establishing community ties.
- Bilingual candidates (Spanish) are preferred but not mandatory.
- Privileges at local hospital required for OB services.
- Our clinic is conveniently located adjacent to the hospital.
- We operate as a separate entity from the hospital, providing a unique practice environment.
- We are a 501(c)3 private corporation with a patient-majority board of directors, designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center.
- OB/GYNs will have one day dedicated to surgery, with the remainder of the week spent in outpatient clinic settings, including designated administrative time.
- The patient mix (OB vs GYN) will vary based on community needs and referrals.
- This position is situated in a rural, underserved area with a significant number of high-risk patients for both OB and GYN.
- Call schedule is anticipated to be 1:2 on weekdays and 1:3 on weekends, with a contracted OB/GYN covering one weekend per month.
- We do not utilize DaVinci surgical systems.
