Position Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled CDL-A driver who is eager to learn the operation of our state-of-the-art mobile mixers. Our progressive pay structure rewards skill acquisition rather than tenure, providing an excellent opportunity for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate both CDL Class A and Class B vehicles utilizing ELD technology.
  • Adhere to safe driving protocols and standards.
  • Follow precise delivery schedules and instructions.
  • Exhibit a willingness to learn and develop new competencies.
  • Ensure quality control during truck preparation and conduct dry equipment runs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the mobile mixer.
  • Assist in calibrating mobile mixers, which may involve lifting 70 lb. totes onto a scale.
  • Complete pre-trip vehicle safety inspections and report any concerns to management.
  • Be prepared for occasional out-of-town assignments, which may require overnight stays.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Class A CDL License.
  • At least two years of CDL driving experience; military, construction, or concrete backgrounds are advantageous.
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 70 pounds, with physical activities including walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing.
  • Proficiency in driving a standard transmission vehicle.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including nights and weekends.
