Position Summary

We are in search of a dedicated Turndown Room Attendant to enhance our vibrant Rooms Team. This role goes beyond mere housekeeping; it requires a keen eye for detail to ensure that guest accommodations are impeccably prepared for a restful night. The Turndown Room Attendant will proactively address and fulfill guest needs, showcasing a thorough understanding of our hotel’s offerings and amenities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to established payroll and key management protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness in all guest rooms and patios, ensuring they are vacuumed, mopped, and dusted.
  • Thoroughly clean bathrooms, including toilets, showers, countertops, and mirrors.
  • Efficiently transport cleaning supplies and equipment between rooms.
  • Handle both clean and soiled linens with care, moving them to designated areas.
  • Dispose of waste from guest rooms appropriately.
  • Restock guest room supplies, including linens and amenities.
  • Make beds and refresh towels in guest rooms.
  • Engage in physical activities such as walking, standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
  • Utilize a turndown cart effectively.
  • Lift items weighing up to 40 lbs as needed.
  • Respond to guest requests with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Ensure all service details are executed flawlessly, providing the highest quality experience for every guest.
  • Stay informed about all hotel services and offerings.
  • Assist guests as required, providing a welcoming presence.
  • Report maintenance issues to the housekeeping department promptly.
  • Assist with bed skirt placement and mattress rotation.
  • Utilize and maintain all cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
  • Complete tasks assigned by Housekeeping Leadership efficiently.
  • Support colleagues in other housekeeping roles during busy periods.
  • Report any suspicious activity or safety hazards to a supervisor.
  • Maintain a polished personal appearance, ensuring uniform cleanliness and tidiness.
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in a luxury hotel environment is preferred.
  • Proficient understanding of English is essential.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal abilities are required.
