Celebration Villa of Summit Hills is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and caring LPN/LVN to provide direct and individualized nursing care to our residents. The successful candidate will work as part of our nursing team to assess patient needs, plan and modify care, and implement interventions.

Responsibilities
  • Provides direct and individualized nursing care to residents
  • Prepares, administers, and records medications in accordance with facility policy
  • Monitors and records temperatures, blood pressures, and other vital signs
  • Collects samples and performs routine laboratory tests
  • Prepares residents for medical treatments, examinations, and tests
  • Administers prescribed emergency care
  • Answers residents' call-lights and determines how to assist them as needed
  • Assesses residents' conditions and vitals to determine and/or modify resident treatment plans
  • Monitors, records, and reports symptoms and changes in residents' conditions
  • Provides input for the development of individualized care plans and implements accordingly
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • Minimum of 1 year of previous long-term care experience
  • Licensed in the applicable state as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
  • CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Must pass a background screening
